Shortly after the launch of his latest album, ‘For All The Dogs,’ the acclaimed artist, who has won multiple Grammy awards, announced his decision to take a break from creating music due to persistent health issues. During his radio show, Drake openly shared, “I probably won’t make music for a little while, to be honest.” He has also postponed several upcoming performances in light of this revelation.

“I need to prioritize my health above all else, and I’ll share more details about that soon,” stated the Hotline Bling rapper. He elaborated, saying, “It’s not anything too extreme, but I believe in promoting good health, and I’ve been grappling with significant stomach issues for quite some time.”

On his SiriusXM show, Table For One, he explained further, “I plan to step away from the studio for a period of time. I’m not exactly sure how long that will be—perhaps a year or maybe even a bit longer.” Drake subsequently posted a clip from the radio program on his Instagram account, addressing his 143 million followers with a simple message: “I’ll see you when I see you.”
