Al Sadd and Ayew decide to part ways amicably

 After a year and a half of playing together, Andre Ayew and Qatari champions Al Sadd have decided to split ways

The Ghanaian captain left English club Swansea City in 2021 and signed with Al Sadd as a free agent.

According to Al Sadd, an agreement has been reached to terminate the 33-year-two-year old’s contract, which was due to end in June of this year.

Al-Sadd SC said that it has reached an understanding with Andre Ayew to end their relationship amicably.

In his first season, Ayew scored 22 goals in 38 games for Al Sadd, taking home the Qatar Stars League and Emir Cup.

His alleged desire to return to Europe has been connected to childhood club Marseille.
