The youthful champion memorializes Atsu by writing “RIP ATSU” on his shirt as he celebrates scoring his ninth league goal.
About two weeks after the horrific earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey and left over 40,000 dead, the ex-Newcastle winger was recovered from the wreckage dead on Saturday, February 18.
His passing has shocked the football community, and many people from all walks of life have paid respect to the star.
Ajax, an Eredivisie team, also tweeted a tribute to the Ghanaian international football player.
Mohammed Kudus was supposed to receive a yellow card for the shirt removal but referee Pol Van Boekel opted not to book him because it was a big situation in football.

Christian Atsu’s last ever goal was a free kick. Mohammed Kudus dedicated his goal today to Atsu after scoring a free kick.
