On March 23, the Black Stars will host Angola in Kumasi before taking on the Black Antelopes three days later in Luanda in an effort to secure a spot in the tournament for the following year.

Mohamed Kudus and Thomas Partey became the team’s captains as the new Ghana coach picked his first squad since taking over.

Lawrence Ati Zigi, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, and Jojo Wollacott, who is making a comeback after missing the Qatar 2022 World Cup due to injury, are the goalkeepers who have been called up.

Together with the Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, and Kamal Sowah, Joseph Painstil returns after being controversially left out of the World Cup squad.
