On Matchday 5 of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications, Ghana and Madagascar forgot about goals and didn’t injure each other.

Ghana hung on for a goalless draw to maintain its lead over Madagascar in a game that lacked excitement and saw no goals. Madagascar squandered its home advantage.


Ghana will practice for its match against the Central African Republic in September, and they will play an exhibition game against the United States in October.

Angola, meanwhile, is in second place after defeating a 10-man Central African Republic 2:1 away from home in Douala.
