Olivetheboy signs with Sony Music’s Columbia Records

Olivetheboy, a rising musical star, has a deal with Sony’s Columbia Records thanks to Bu Vision Ent.

Both executive partnerships were agreed upon over the weekend, but they won’t become official until the rising star’s grand unveiling on Friday, August 24, 2023.

The agreement reveals that Bu Vision will be in charge of the crooner’s A&R, Sony/Columbia Records will handle all licensing, promotion, and distribution of creative works, and Loop Music/FulLCircL Management Ltd will probably still hold the singer’s records.

After the release of his wildly popular hit “Goodsin” off his AVANA EP, the Afrobeat artist shot to fame.

The youthful virtuoso was named Ghana’s hottest performer of 2023 after the song was named the most streamed Ghanaian single of 2023.

The rapidly developing star now counts D’Banj, Davido, Wizkid, and the esteemed classic Angelique Kidjo among the stunning list of African giants that have signed with Sony Music.

After signing Gyakie in 2021, this song marks the label’s second theft from the Ghanaian market.
