UCC STUDENT’S FINANCIAL SUPPORT OFFICE (STuFSO) APPLICATION REQUIREMENT AND PROCESS FOR 2023/24 ACADEMIC YEAR

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has open applications for regular students to apply for the 2023/2024 UCC Student’s Financial Support Office (StuFSO) scholarship.
The administration of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) is encouraging all deserving regular and distance students from level 100 – 700 to apply for the university’s scholarship program for the academic years 2023–2024.
NB: The scholarship Application begins on the 1st June to 30th June, 2023
ABOUT STUDENTS’ FINANCIAL SUPPORT OFFICE
The Students’ Financial Support Office is thus established with the aim of providing equal educational opportunities and a sound environment free from financial tensions and emotions to brilliant/promising but needy students of the University. The Financial Support at the University is in the form of a full scholarship, partial scholarship, provision of accommodation, fee arrangements and, on-campus work-study or part-time job opportunities for students.
OBJECTIVES OF STuFSO
Provide financial support in the form of bursaries and scholarships to Needy but brilliant students of the University of Cape Coast.Ensure transparency in administering financial assistance to students.
Identify university-based paid jobs that could be offered to students by the University to support their upkeep and training needs without compromising their academic work.Engage in aggressive fundraising activities for the sustainability of StuFSO.
Criteria for Accessing StuFSO Scholarship/Bursary
To be eligible for consideration for the Centralized Scholarship/Bursary Scheme administered by StuFSO, the applicant must satisfy the following conditions:
1.Must be a Ghanaian by birth
2. Be enrolled as a student of the University of Cape Coast on full-time regular programmes
3. Must have completed at least one academic year of studies
4. Must have a CGPA of 2.5 or better ( CURRENT FIRST YEAR STUDENTS CAN APPLY).
5. Be able to demonstrate financial need and must be ready to supply any documentary evidence for decision making.
6.Must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship scheme.
7.Must be brilliant as determined by the University.
8.Must complete an application form by providing the right information.
STEPS TO APPLY
1.Visit

and follow the instructions.
2.Create an account to sign up (new applicants) or sign in (students with existing accounts) using institutional email. Students yet to be issued with Institutional email address should contact the Management Information System (MIS).
3.Complete the application form and upload the necessary supporting documents.
4.Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to a selection interview.
NOTE: Students who are currently on the scholarship and are yet to complete school are to apply to be considered for renewal
