Yaya Toure and Thomas Partey
Toure claimed that the Ghanaian football player was the only reason he would watch Arsenal every weekend.
The former international for the Ivory Coast stated on talkSPORT, “Yes, he’s [Partey] terrific, it is nice to see.
“I have to admit that I used to go just to watch him every weekend when Arsenal had a game. He really is unbelievable.
Partey has two goals in the current season and is now playing the greatest football of his career since joining Arsenal.
The Ghanaian is a crucial member of Mikel Arteta’s team, which leads the Premier League standings by five points.
Last week, the Ghanaian international’s goal helped the Gunners rally from a two-goal deficit to defeat Bournemouth 3-2 in the Premier League.
Thomas Partey
Partey, meantime, thinks that Arsenal’s never-say-die attitude has contributed to the team’s successful season thus far.
“I believe the mentality of never giving up is responsible. We are motivated game after game by our faith in the squad and the support of the supporters. Partey remarked after the game, “I think we have earned every victory we’ve had this year.
“I believe it was another game where we were able to behind and then come back to win.
“I believe this will boost the team’s morale and the supporters’ desire to continue their support. We all want to play football like this, he continued.
