The playmaker’s agency almost certainly verified Mohammed Kudus’ wish to leave Ajax Amsterdam this summer.

After his outstanding accomplishments, Jennifer Mendelewitsch claimed that it was the correct time for the Ghanaian to leave the Dutch giants.

Kudus has scored 18 goals and provided five assists across all competitions this season at the club level, making this his most productive period in front of goal.

Despite the Black Stars’ elimination in the group stage of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, he also scored twice and gave one assist for Ghana.

Last summer, the 22-year-old came very close to signing with Everton of the Premier League, but Ajax prevented the transfer.

Kudus has received interest from other clubs, and Mendelewitsch intimated that the midfielder wanted to leave Ajax.

The British tabloid The Athletic earlier this week said that Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool were keeping an eye on Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus has rejected a one year contract extension at Ajax, The Athletic reports.

Newcastle, Manchester United and Arsenal have all expressed interest in the Black Stars attacker.

“I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time,” the agent told De Telegraaf.

“He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season, there is a lot of interest in Kudus.”

According to reports, Kudus turned down a one-year contract extension because he plans to work elsewhere next season.

It is uncertain whether he will complete the remaining 24 months of his contract with Ajax or move on to another team given that Ajax has placed a ÂŁ40 million price tag on him.
