At the Gomoa Buduatta crossroads in the Central Region, an STC bus conveying seniors from Kasoa to Cape Coast was in an accident.
According to reports, a speeding tipper truck from Winneba collided with the GT-1079-20 bus, causing it to tumble.
According to reports, the pupils on the bus came from a variety of Central Region institutions or schools.
Including, Ghana National College, Adisadel College, Holy Child SHS, ArchBishop Poter’s Girls, Aggrey etc
On April 17, 2023, a Monday morning, the incident took place.
In the early hours following the collision, some of the victims had been rescued, but others were still trapped inside the bus’s wreckage.
As they are being rescued, members of the Ghana National Fire Service and other emergency services are on the site.
So far, no deaths have been reported.
